Head of Accounting Operations
HEAD OF ACCOUNTING OPERATIONS
A privately held commercial real estate investment firm focused on the value-add acquisition of office, industrial, retail, and multi-family properties throughout the Western United States is seeking an exceptional Head of Accounting Operations to join our team in the Philippines. This position will work during US Pacific Time business hours. This position will work remotely.
Reporting:
The Head of Accounting Operations will report directly to the Controller.
Duties:
- Oversee the accounting team
- Conduct training of staff based on need and as assigned
- Prepare ad hoc and periodic reports as assigned
- Complete other projects and tasks assigned by management
Qualifications:
- CPA required
- Latin honors (cum laude, magna cum laude, summa cum laude) required
- At least 10 years of audit experience with one of the Big 4 accounting firms
- Solid organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of the organization and externally with tenants, vendors and other outside parties
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must possess strong work ethic
- Must be a team player
